German Open Ice Swim
Race in the crystal-clear, ice cold waters under Europe's longest castle while experiencing the warmth of Bavarian hospitality. 'Courage, sport, cold and fun' is the motto of Germany's 2nd Open Ice Swim taking place on the Wohrsee Lake in the idyllic medieval town of Burghausen deep in Bavaria. Try your first ice swims over distances of 50m up to 500m. The main event is the 1km and is sure to attract world champions of the ice and open waters. A chance to meet, swim and celebrate with some epic adrenaline seekers.
