USWSA 1st National Champs
The United States Winter Swimming Association (USWSA) will host its 2016 National Championships in collaboration with the Coney Island Polar Bear Club. The venue for the event is La Marina which is located on the Hudson River in New York, New York with the iconic George Washington Bridge as our back drop.
A two lane 25-meter swimming pool will be constructed between pontoon docks of the marina. La Marina's Restaurant will serve as our base of operations and host of the gala dinner following the swimming competitions.
The Hudson River is expected to be around 35°F to 40°F (2°C to 5°C) and the likely air temperature will range from 38°F to 27°F (4°C to -3°C).
